Cape Breton Partnership Newcomer Journey Maps

We were thrilled to collaborate with the Cape Breton Partnership and their Immigrant Advisory Table on this exciting project. Every newcomer’s journey is unique, that’s why the Cape Breton Partnership and Cape Breton Local Immigration Partnership wanted to create these journey maps to showcase the settlement experiences of individuals who have made the move to Cape Breton – Unama’ki from outside of Canada. Each map tells the story of the individual, the resources that were helpful to them in the early days, where they turned for support, and what helped them to feel at home on the Island. These digital designs would be displayed on the welcometocapebreton.ca website to help give other newcomers/potential newcomers a sense of what settling here can look like.

Our teams worked closely to help share these stories, and our Creative Lead, Jayme, absolutely knocked it out of the park!
